FUNDRAISING AT FLORENCE

 

The PTA helps our school by raising funds for teacher grants, special events, programs and materials that are outside of the general budget.  

 

The fundraisers below help Florence PTA achieve our goals of advancing our school, helping our teachers and supporting our students.

 

 

BOOSTER / GLOW RUN

Florence Glow Run, brought to us by Booster, is a yearly event in early fall that raises the majority of our funds for the year.  Our glow run promotes physical activity, leadership skills and good character!  

 

 

BOOK FAIR

Our Scholastic Book Fairs are an important part of our fundraising efforts. Twice a year, the PTA partners with our wonderful librarian, teachers and staff to promote literacy while helping FES.

 

 

 

COMMUNITY REWARDS 

Community Rewards makes fundraising easy by donating to local organizations based on the shopping you do everyday. Once you link your card to an organization, all you have to do is shop and swipe your Shopper's Card!

 

A digital account is needed.  If you already have a digital account, you will need to ensure you have a Plus Card linked to your account. Then, go here to select an organization.

 

**Please note, a Shopper's Card is required for the Community Rewards program so that your transactions apply toward the organization you choose.

 SPIRIT NIGHTS

Throughout the school year, local restaurants and businesses host spirit nights.  A percentage of proceeds from the sales on that day will be donated to Florence Elementary School.  We encourage our families to attend these events and to get the word out to our community to come support our school.  

 

SPIRIT STORE, YEARBOOK, SPIRIT WEAR

Other fundraising initiatives include:

  • Spirit Store:  Throughout the year, we host spirit store days where students can shop for fun and popular trinkets.
  • Yearbook:  We partner with Treering for yearbook sales.
  • Spirit wear sales:  Sweatshirts, hoodies, and tees are sold through our online spirit wear store. 

 

PENGUIN PATCH

Our Penguin Patch store is held in late fall.  Students can go holiday shopping for everyone on their lists.  Penguin Patch promotes budgeting and money math skills while allowing children to get into the spirit of giving.
