We're excited to announce this year's PTA Reflections theme:
"What My Culture Means to Me"
The Reflections program invites students to explore their creativity by creating an original work of art inspired by this year's theme.
Culture can mean many things, including family traditions, community values, language, heritage, celebrations, food, art, or the experiences that make each of us unique. We can't wait to see how our Florence students interpret and bring this meaningful theme to life!
Students may enter in one of these categories:
- Dance Choreography
- Film Production
- Literature
- Music Composition
- Photography
- Visual Arts
- Accessible Arts
The PTA Reflections program is open to students in Pre-K through 12th grade and has inspired young artists for more than 50 years. Through the arts, students develop creativity, critical thinking, and self-expression while having the opportunity to earn recognition at the local, state, and national levels.
Additional information, deadlines, and campus-specific details will be shared when school resumes in August. In the meantime, students and families are encouraged to review the participation rules and learn more about the program at www.txpta.org/reflections-participation.
We can't wait to celebrate the incredible creativity of our Florence students!
